KILLARNEY Soroptimists Club has presented a cheque of €1,000 to Breda Dyland, Manager, and Jay Galvin, Chairman, of the Kerry Cancer Support Group, at the Killarney Plaza Hotel on Tuesday, April 2, after making the most of their annual pancake and coffee morning which took place on Shrove Tuesday in February.
Members of the Killarney Soroptimists present a cheque to Breda Dyland and Jay Galvin of the Kerry Cancer Support Group on Tuesday last at the Killarney Plaza Hotel.
The pancake morning has been taking place for the past 11 years and is the club’s main annual fundraiser. This year the proceeds were donated to the Kerry-Cork Health Link Bus, the Order of Malta, and the Southwest Counselling Centre.
The Kerry Cancer Support Group would like to thank the Killarney Soroptimists for their generous donation and to all those who supported the club in their efforts to raise the money.
