Sunday Lunch    Na Gaeil Clubhouse again hosted Sunday Lunch at the weekend and all club members that attended had a wonderful dining experience.

It is great to see the premises opened again. Cathy, Jackie, Margaret and all the other helpers that did trojan work on the day ensuring that everything ran smoothly and provided an excellent service to everybody.

The feedback has been extremely positive and many have booked again for next week. Club members that would like to book a table for next Sunday can contact Jackie on 086 195 8586. Well done to all involved and everybody that supported this new venture.

Seniors     Senior team training is in full swing at the moment in preparation for the first round of the Intermediate Championship with large numbers in attendance. They now have two more weeks before their encounter with Glenflesk which takes place on Sat/Sun July 25/26 at a neutral venue. We wish them the best of luck in this campaign.

Minors    The Keane’s Supervalu Minor County League kicks off on Friday July 17th with Na Gaeil playing An Ghaeltacht at home at 7pm.

U14    There was a good turnout at U14 training on Sunday. These boys are playing in group B of the upcoming U14 competition along with Churchill, John Mitchels and Kerins O’Rahillys. The first game is scheduled for Wednesday July 29th. The next training session is on Wednesday next from 5pm to 6.20pm.

U12    The U12’s wereback training again on Sunday which is fantastic. They are all delighted to be back in Killeen. It was a good session with the focus on regaining fitness and sharpening the basic skills through playing mini- games.

U10    The U10’s were put through their paces Sunday as the session began with some running drills . This was followed by a hand passing game where all the boys got time on the ball. The end game saw a great display of football skills from all the boys. Well done! Training continues on Thursday evenings at 6pm.

U8    The U8’s returned to training in great numbers on Sunday morning with young players excited to be back to meet coachesand friends again. They had a wonderful smile on their faces after training. Well done to them all.

U16    U16 training got under way on Sunday evening with everyone delighted to be back. Training continues on Wednesday at 5pm and on Sunday also at 5pm.

Speedy Recovery    We wish our clubhouse manager Seán O’Connor a speedy recovery from his recent illness and look forward to seeing him back at the helm in the not too distant future.

Sympathy    We extend our sincere sympathy to Ger Doyle and his wife Katie on the sad passing of his father Peter. May he rest in peace.We extend our condolences to the Laide family, Monavalley on the sad passing                                                        of Deirdre Laide. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dílis.

Na Gaeil Volunteers    The demand for this service has reduced since the restrictions on shopping for the elderly have been lifted but Na Gaeil volunteers are still available to help. So do not hesitate to contact us

Clubhouse    The clubhouse bar and the gym will be closed until there is further clarification from GAA Headquarters as to when they can re-open. This means that our Monday night bingo, Tuesday night lotto and Wednesday night card playing are suspended until then as well as all other activities that normally took place there on a weekly basis.

Clothes Collection    There is now a Clothes Collection Bin situated in Na Gaeil car park for use by all members of the public.
