Lotto results: Winning numbers were 1; 3; 18; 31. Lucky dip winners of €20 were: Pat & Geraldine McLaughlin, Myra Daly, John Cleary, Emer Hogan, Gunther Seich. Next Tuesday’s jackpot will be €6,400.

U9s: The u9s boys took to the astro last Sunday morning in the MTU and were delighted with the extra space and freedom of the outdoors. After an energetic warm up, we practised the pick up and solos. There was fierce character and grit shown in the matches at the end of the session and all coaches were very impressed!

U11s: We had 23 U11s training last Sunday morning in MTU. This week we concentrated on the Punt and Hook kick followed by a shooting drill. We finished up with a possession game. All the lads performed with great credit and no shortage of skill. All going well we will see ye all again next Sunday.

U15s: Our u15 team had another gym session last Friday night. This gym work will continue every Friday (6-7pm) in the club gym for the next few months. Last Sunday we took part in the Comórtas an Earraigh in Gaeltacht. Despite only having 17 players the lads played some super football.

First game was against Laune Rangers who proved too strong for us winning by 2-7 to 1-2. Our second game saw us have a ding dong battle with Spa, finishing in a draw at full time. Our final group game was against the hosts An Gaeltacht.

Despite An Gaeltacht being a more physical team it was our lads who knuckled down and sprang a surprise, winning by 3-4 to 2-5. Those results saw us into the C final where we faced Spa again.

Once again this was a very even match. Spa led by a point at halftime but our lads edged the second half to deservedly win by 1-9 to 2-5. Our panel was: Iarla Hanafin, Jack Kelly, Daragh Morris, Cathal Fitzgerald, Cillian Griffin, Ruadhan Clifford, Brain Heaphy, Jeaic Canty, Jamie Schoenmaker, Jake Coffey, Conor Lucey, Paddy McElligott, Brian Reidy, Liam Cooper, Fionn Daly, Will Somers & Malachy Warr.

U17s: Our minor team got their season off to a winning start last Sunday when they defeated Kerins O’Rahillys by 2 points in the Town Board. Final score: Na Gaeil 1-8, Rahillys 2-3.

Cards: The weekly 45 card game is back. Every Wednesday night, starting at 9pm sharp. Bring your own partner or come along and we will get you a partner.

I want to thank our existing Committee members who have given their time and energy so generously for our bingo for over a decade now.
