Sympathy: The club would like to offer its sincere sympathy to the Heaphy family, Rahoonane, on the recent passing of Louis. May he rest in peace.

Senior fixtures: Next weekend our senior team (Div 2) are home to Castleisland Desmonds while our Div 6B team are away to Beaufort B.

Lotto results: Lotto Tue 3rd May. No winner. Numbers drawn were 1, 4, 5, 22.  Lucky dip winners of €20 each were Tony Milner, Sarah O’Connell, Dónal Crowley, Helen Lacey, William Burke. Kerry seniors: Well done to Diarmuid O’Connor, Jack Barry and Stefan Okunbor who were part of the Kerry team who defeated Cork in the Munster semi-final last Saturday in Cork.

Kerry U20s: Hard luck to Devon Burns & Enda O’Connor who were part of the Kerry u20 team who unfortunately lost to Tyrone in the All-Ireland semi-final last Sunday in Portlaoise.

U14 girls: Well done to our girls who proved too strong for Kerins O’Rahillys in the final game of the non-county player league last Sunday. Final score Na Gaeil 4-7, Kerins O’Rahillys 1-5.

U9 boys: Our u9 boys played Kerins O’Rahillys last Sunday morning in Ballyrickard. We fielded 3 teams and some great football was on display. Thanks to Kerins O’Rahillys for hosting us and we look forward to a return game later in the season.

U11 boys: Both our 11s teams were in action in Killeen last Thursday night against Listowel Emmets. Once again fantastic football was played by our boys.

U13 boys: Our Green team played Milltown/Castlemaine last Sunday in Na Gaeil and it was a great match. Milltown/Castlemaine started a bit better and got some great early scores. Na Gaeil to their credit never gave up and got some good scores also. Halftime score left Na Gaeil behind by 8 pts. The second half saw a great come back by Na Gaeil and both teams played great football. Final score was Na Gaeil 5-13, Milltown/Castlemaine 5-9.Our White team played Milltown/Castlemaine too and it was a real tough battle for us against a strong Milltown/Castlemaine team. Both teams played great football but Milltown/Castlemaine linked up better and went in at halftime up by 7 pts. Second half we started really well and got ourselves in front by a point with 5 minutes to go. Milltown/Castlemaine finished well by scoring 3 points from frees and won 2-13 to 3-8. Thanks to Milltown Castlemaine for two sporting games.

U15 boys: Next Wednesday, May 11th our lads will be at home to Kilcummin in the semi-final of the County League Div 4 shield at 7pm. Please come along and give them your support.

U17s: Division 4 Central region fixtures: May 9th Home to Dromid/Waterville; May 16th Home to Sneem/Derrynane/Templenoe; May 23rd Away to Renard/St. Marys.

Gaelcholáiste Ciarraí Transition Year drama: There’s a wedding happening in Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn at the end of May or wait – is it a funeral?? Come along and see what happens – it’s sure to be hilarious!!!

Our playwright-in-residence, Mary Quirke, the person responsible for our wonderful Scór dramas, is collaborating with the TY students in the Gaelcholáiste to present a play written and directed by herself entitled “Til Death Do Us Part”! If you were fortunate enough to be in the audience for “One Wedding and a Funeral” – a comedy/drama also written and directed by Mary and performed by club members back in January 2017 – you’ll rush to purchase tickets for this latest offering.

They’re available by phoning Kirsty at 083 8800126 Monday to Friday before 3pm, and cost €12 for an adult, and €8 for a child. As I said above, Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn is the venue, and the hilarity kicks off at 7.30pm on Friday the 27th May. Don’t miss it!!!

Limited Draw: Our Finance Committee have organised a limited draw (100 members) for a much sought after bottle of 2021 Midelton Very Rare Vintage Release Triple Distilled Irish Whiskey.

The prize is generously sponsored by the Coin Off Licence, Bridge St., Tralee. The funds raised will help to purchase essential technical equipment for the transmission of Na Gaeil TV etc. Tickets are €10 and are available in the clubhouse or from any Executive member. Draw will take place in the clubhouse on Sat 4th June.

Cúl Camps 2022: A note for your diary if you have little footballers in your house ….Na Gaeil’s Cúl Camp will be held from July 4th-8th.

Na Gaeil cycle club: Cycle each Saturday at 9am from Na Gaeil club. Everyone is welcome to come for a nice friendly cycle.

Cards: The weekly 45 card game is back. Every Wednesday night, starting at 9pm sharp. Bring your own partner or come along and we will get you a partner.

Volunteers needed: The club is at all times looking for new volunteers. If you’d like to give a hand with our bingo on a Monday night, our lotto on a Tuesday night or maybe helping with juvenile coaching we’d be delighted to hear from you. You can contact Colm on 087-9080465.
