New Arrivals: Congratulations to Kieran Dineen and his wife Fiona on the birth of their baby boy recently and Jamie Lowham and his wife Natasha also welcomed a baby boy to their family in recent weeks.

Bingo: Na Gaeil Bingo will celebrate St. Valentine’s Day tonight, February 13th. Tea/coffee refreshments and goodies from 7pm. Bingo starts at 8pm sharp. Come along and enjoy a very enjoyable night at Na Gaeil and a chance to win cash prizes with over €1,000 guaranteed. Split the bucket & raffle prizes also.

Bord na nÓg: Our next Bord na nÓg meeting will be held this Wednesday 15th February at 9pm.

Kerry LGFA: Good luck to Mary O’Connell and her Kerry teammates who will host Dublin in Round 4 of the Lidl Ladies National League next Saturday February 18th in Austin Stack Park at 5.15pm.

Allianz Football League: Kerry’s next game in the Allianz League will be next Saturday, February 18th, away to Mayo in Castlebar at 7.30pm. Good luck to Jack & Stefan.

Allianz Hurling League:  Well done to Dan Goggin and the Kerry hurlers who defeated Carlow yesterday in Round 2 of the National Hurling League Div 2A.

Senior Men’s Tralee/St. Brendans Board Fixtures: Our senior men’s team got their 2023 season underway yesterday when they took on Austin Stacks in Connolly Park. Both teams were understrength but Stacks ran out comfortable winners.

Congratulations to four members of our 2022 minor team who made their senior debuts in the game namely Shane Kelly, Kian Sheehan, Rory Reen and Paul Burke.

U5 Training:  Great numbers at the Na Gaeil under 5 beginners academy in the MTU yesterday. Many thanks to new coaches. Working on the basics. New members are always welcome. Contact Denis for details 087-2808719.

Munster Schools U19 C Football (Boys): Hard luck to Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí who lost out in the u19 Munster Final v St. Pats Castleisland last Saturday. There were a large number of Na Gaeil players on the panel and the team coaches were Dónal Rooney and Diarmuid O’Connor.

Sigerson Cup 2023: Damien Bourke and his UCC team defeated Technological University Dublin by 2 points last Wednesday in Carlow in the semi-final of the Sigerson Cup. Best wishes to them when they face University of Limerick in the final next Wednesday, February 15th in Waterford.

Development League (senior men) fixtures: Our senior B team are in Division 2 of the Development League. Their fixtures are as follows:

Round 1 26th March: Na Gaeil B v Kenmare Shamrocks B

Round 2 16th April: Spa B v Na Gaeil B

Round 3 6th May: Dingle B v Na Gaeil B

Round 4 28th May: Na Gaeil B v Ballymac B

U17 boys fixtures: The Tralee/St. Brendans Board competition started last Monday and our lads played out a very competitive draw away to John Mitchels. We are in Division 4A of the Minor County League.

Its due to start next Saturday February 18th when we host Duagh at 3pm. Our remaining fixtures are as follows: Round 2: 25th Feb at 1pm Glenflesk v Na Gaeil; Round 3: 4th March at 3pm Na Gaeil v Cordal/Scartaglen;Round 4: 11th March at 3pm Ballyduff v Na Gaeil; Round 5: 18th March at 3pm Na Gaeil v Sneem/Derrynane/Templenoe/Tuosist.

Scór na nÓg: We’re looking for boys/girls (14/15/16 yrs old) interested in taking part in a Scór drama. Please get in touch with Margaret 086 0855008 if you have a son/daughter you think might like to get involved.

Hire the Hall: The hall in the clubhouse is available for parties or other events. Please email nagaeilclubhouse@gmail.com if you’d like to make a booking.

Na Gaeil cycle club: Cycle each Saturday at 9am from Na Gaeil club. Everyone is welcome to come for a nice friendly cycle.

Cards: The weekly 45 card game is back. Every Wednesday night, starting at 9pm sharp. Bring your own partner or come along and we will get you a partner.
