Upcoming events in clubhouse: On Thursday March 14th there’ll be a showcase of all our Scór talent in the clubhouse from 7.30pm. This promises to be a great night’s entertainment with all ages catered for – idir óg agus aosta! Bigí linn.

Bingo: Na Gaeil Bingo tonight at 8pm sharp. Our Continued Special Offer on our Mini Accumulater Jackpot House is €380 in 58 calls. We also have a Raffle and Split the Bucket at half time. Bus available on (087) 2817577. Over 18s only. Hope to see you all there for an excellent night out.

Volunteers: The club are looking for people to help out at bingo on Monday nights. If you can spare 2 hours every 5 or 6 weeks then Niamh (087-9863667) would be delighted to have you on board.

Cheltenham Competition: Entries are still being taken for the Cheltenham Rollover. Leave your name, number & entry fee of €30 behind the bar before tomorrow. Then submit your horse selections by 1pm on each of the 4 days.

Drug Awareness Event: U15 and U17 players & their parents are invited to a Drug Awareness event in MTU on Saturday March 23rd from 2pm to 3.30pm. Guest Speaker will be 24 year old Kildare GAA player Conor Harris who will share his story of addiction.

Senior (Men’s) Fixture: Next Sunday our senior men are due to play Austin Stacks in Killeen in Round 2 (back game) of the Tralee/St Brendan’s Lee Strand Senior League. Throw-in time TBC.

Schools Football: Good luck to Kian Sheehan & Kevin O’Donoghue when Mercy Mounthawk take on Omagh CBS in the Hogan Cup final next Saturday in Croke Park at 3pm.

Colleges Football (LGFA): Congratulations to Sienna Lucey who was part of the MTU ladies team who won the Higher Education Giles Cup last Friday against Maynooth. Well done too to Philip Dewey who was a member of the MTU management team.

Basketball: Congratulations to Meabh Barry & her Utility Trust St. Paul’s team who won the Division 1 League final last Saturday in Tallaght. In doing so they have secured promotion to the MissQuote.ie Women’s Basketball Superleague.

U5 Training: Yesterday we had another great morning in The Sports Complex for the under 5s. Catching and kicking was improved on. Again many thanks to coaches and parents and expecially Helen for the photos and desk work.

U7 Training: Well done to the 24 kids at our U7’s training yesterday morning. The group practiced their crouch lifting, high catch, mobility exercises, solo runs and finished with two games. Next Sunday we will be taking part in the St Patrick’s Day Parade. This is always a great Club event so plenty of club colours on the day please. Denis Sugrue’s son Barry will lead the group so we are guaranteed to have great banter. Further details to follow during the week.

U11 Boys Training: Another good session yesterday morning for our under 11 boys. Running, high catching and tackling were the main focus of the session and the boys are making great progress. Well done boys.

Minor Co. League: Our u17 boys made it 2 wins out of 2 in the County League when they defeated Kilcummin (away) last Saturday. Final score was Kilcummin 0-6, Na Gaeil 2-11. Next Saturday Churchill are our visitors at 3pm.

Girls Training: Na Gaeil Ladies juveniles (u8/u10/u12) are back training for the new season. New members are always welcome. For more information contact Eddie on 087-6791460.

Lidl Ladies National League: Round 6 will see the Kerry Ladies team on the road again, this time away to Meath on St. Patrick’s Day. Good luck to the team, especiall our 5 Na Gaeil girls.

Allianz National Football League: Kerry’s next game will be away to Roscommon on St. Patrick’s Day.

Na Gaeil cycle club: Cycle each Saturday at 9.30am from Na Gaeil club. Everyone is welcome to come for a nice friendly cycle.

Cards: The weekly 45 card game is held every Wednesday night starting at 9pm. Everyone is welcome.
