Na GaeilSeniors:

Na Gaeil seniors play Scartaglen in the opening round of the county league this Sunday March 20th in Killeen at 2.00pm. Please come out and support the lads. It promises to be a tough test but we are hoping to get our county league campaign off to a good start.

Minors:

We played round three of our Division 2 county league at home to Dingle last Saturday and this encounter did not disappoint. Dingle employed a very efficient sweeper system that was very hard to break down and we trailed 5 pts to 2 pts at half time.

We finally got to grips with them and held out for a 1 pt win at the end. The final score Na Gaeil 2-06 Dingle 0-11. Good performances in the forwards by Segun Duyile and Dylan Burns and Shawn Duggan, Rory Murphy and Damien Bourke in the backs although this was a 20 man team effort. We play Rathmore away on March 26th in the next round. Next training session is this Friday at 6.30pm.

U14 Boys:

The St. Brendan’s League fixtures are as follows: March 14th 7pm John Mitchels V Na Gaeil in Mitchels, March 20th 5.00pm Na Gaeil V Churchill in Na Gaeil, March 27th 5.00pm St Pats V Na Gaeil in St Pats, April 3rd 6.00pm Na Gaeil V Ardfert in Na Gaeil. Check our website for all fixtures. Training this week will be on Friday 5pm due to St. Patrick’s Day. The County League starts on March 30th and all games are on every Wednesday from then on. The entire panel wish Devon Burns a speedy recovery from hospital.
