THE annual Bill Kirby Memorial Walk once again drew a big crowds on St Stephen’s Day, as hundreds showed up on a dry morning outside Kirby’s Brogue Inn.
This was the 20th annual walk and has raised hundreds of thousands of euro in aid of the Palliative Care Unit at University Hospital Kerry and other charities over the years.
People gave generously to the cause as they arrived to music playing by Michael Gaffney and Mark Leen outside the bar/restaurant from 11am.
Organised as ever by Michael ‘Fox’ O’Connor, the good folks at Kirby’s Brogue Inn, supplied the refreshments for the walkers when they returned after getting some exercise on the route. Well done to all. Scroll down for photos…
