THE Ballyheigue community and beyond were out in force on Saturday night for a fashion fundraiser.
Hundreds turned out in the Fels Point Hotel for the ‘Fashion Fusion’ night, organised by Eileen Whelan, in aid of the Duggan Family House Fire Appeal.
The Duggans from Kerry Head were out when a fire engulfed their home on November 28 leaving them with nothing, so a campaign was launched to help them out.
Guests were treated to a pre-drinks reception and fashion show, MC’d by Orlagh Winters and produced by Upfront Model Management featuring the best of Kerry designers – including Colin Horgan from Ardfert – and boutiques.
There was also dancing late into the night with music by Midnight Cafe and DJ Ray Stack in a fantastic night for a great cause.
