ABOUT 160 cyclists set off for the annual Na Gaeil GAA club cycle on Saturday morning.
The annual event is a major fundraiser for the club and there was a good turnout in the sunshine to see the riders off.
There were two routes, the first of which took them from Na Gaeil out to Castleisland and back to the club in Killeen taking in 40km of cycling.
The more adventurous set out on the 80km cycle from Na Gaeil Club in Killeen out to Castleisland, Abbeyfeale, Duagh, Listowel back into Killeen.
Younger members did a 15km cycle leaving from Na Gaeil up to the IT Tralee where there was a safety lesson given to the younger cyclists.
Tea, coffee, soup and sandwiches were served in the clubhouse before and after the cycle and afterwards all cyclists and stewards were invited back to the clubhouse for a barbecue and music.
All funds raised will be reinvested back into the youth and seniors of our club.
