KERRY star Aidan O’Mahony was on hand on Monday morning to help Presentation Primary celebrate achieving two flags at the school.
The school achieved its sixth Green Flag from An Taisce for their work on the theme of ‘Global Citizenship – Litter and Waste’.
The Green Flag project involves the whole school and sees pupils and staff alike trying to increase recycling and reducing waste.

Meanwhile, the girls from Fifth Class were involved in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme and were also rewarded a flag for their hard work.
They set up a company called the ‘Magtacular Magnet Company’ and showcased their products at the exhibition at the Malton Hotel last month.
The school also held a raffle on Monday morning organised by the Parents Association as part of their fundraising activities. Prizes were donated by local businesses including; Hugh Culloty’s, Billy Nolan Jewellers, Hilsers Jewellers, Supervalu, Smyth’s Toy Store, The Playdium and The Brandon Hotel.
