Rainfall Warning For Kerry On Tuesday Night

WHILE Monday and most of Tuesday will be dry and pleasant in Kerry, it will take a turn for then worse tomorrow night.

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow Rainfall warning for Kerry as well as Wexford, Wicklow, Galway, Mayo, Cork, and Waterford. It’s valid from 9pm on Tuesday night until 12 noon on Wednesday.

Heavy and at times intense rainfall with totals of 25 to 40mm expected. This may result in localized flooding. The rain will clear western counties by early Wednesday morning.

In fact, looking at the rainfall radar on the Met Éireann website, the rain will arrive in Kerry at around 5pm on Tuesday evening and have passed by 5am on Wednesday. It’ll be a showery Wednesday morning until it brightens up in the afternoon.

In the meantime, Monday will see dry weather with sunny spells but temperatures won’t exceed 15 degrees. Tuesday morning and afternoon will be dry with similar temperatures to today, until the rain arrives that evening.
