Status Orange Rain Warning Issued For Kerry

WHILE there is a Status Yellow Rain Warning already in effect for Kerry at the moment, that will be upgraded to Status Orange tomorrow afternoon.

Met Éireann say there will be persistent rain from tomorrow, heavy at times, accompanied by strong onshore winds, high tides, and elevated river levels.

Flooding is  expected in some areas along with wave overtopping and difficult travelling conditions.

A Status Yellow rain warning is in effect until 12 noon on Wednesday at which point it will go to Orange 12 noon until 12 noon on Thursday.

The rest of Tuesday will be showery this afternoon with more persistent rain coming in later this evening and overnight, while it looks like there’ll be no let up all day Wednesday.
