Status Yellow Fog Warning Issued For Ireland

THE weather warnings just keep on coming.

No sooner had a wind warning ended earlier this morning, Met Éireann then issued a Status Yellow fog warning for the whole country.

There will be dense fog with a risk of freezing fog in places. The warning is valid from just after midnight tonight until 10am on Monday.

Meanwhile, today will be mainly cloudy with showery rain throughout, heavier in the afternoon and decreasing during the night.

Temperatures of just 5 to 7 degrees and becoming cold early in the evening. Moderate to fresh northerly winds, strong for a time in coastal areas, will ease later.

Sunday will see a cold and frosty start with dense fog lingering through the day, though there will be occasional bright spells.

A largely dry day with isolated showers, highest temperatures of 2 to 5 degrees though a little milder on coasts and moderate winds.
