A STATUS Yellow Rain Warning has been issued for Ireland for much of Monday.
Met Éireann says there will be heavy or thundery pulses of rain coming in on Sunday night and Monday which will lead to flooding in places.
The warning is valid from 3am on Monday to 8pm on Monday. However, looking more closely at the rainfall radar on the Met.ie website, Kerry will see heavy rain in the early hours of Monday, but by the morning and into the afternoon there will only a few showers with spells of sunshine but it will be cold with temperatures of about 5 or 6 degrees.
