A STATUS Yellow Rainfall warning is on the way for Kerry taking effect tomorrow, Monday.

Met Éireann has issued the weather warning Kerry as well as Clare, Connacht and Donegal. Heavy rain will arrive later Monday, Monday night and Tuesday may cause some river and localised flooding.

It’s valid for a 24 hour period from Monday at 2pm to Tuesday at 2pm. According to the rainfall radar on the Met Éireann website, in Kerry, Monday will be showery but the heavy and sustained rain won’t arrive until Tuesday morning and stay until early Tuesday afternoon.

The good news is it looks like it will be dry from late Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday will be dry but turning much colder on Thursday for the rest of the week.
