IT seems like we’ve had nothing but wind and rain over the past week and it’s not going to let up soon.

Met Eireann has just issued yet two warnings as Storm Dennis tracks in the vicinity of Ireland over Saturday and Sunday.

A Status Yellow wind warning for Ireland will see very squally southerly winds veering southwesterly with mean speeds 50 to 65 km/hr gusts to around 100 km/hr, strongest on exposed coasts and hills. Winds moderating from the northwest later. This warning is from 3am on Saturday morning to 8pm Saturday evening.

After that, the forecast does not get any better with more strong winds and heavy rain on the way on Sunday. Met Eireann is expected to update their weather warnings throughout the weekend.
