TEN local projects in Kerry will benefit from an allocation of €375,366 under the 2023 CLÁR Programme.
Today’s announcement is part of a further €6.2 million allocation under the programme to 152 projects nationwide.
Projects to receive funding include enhancing road access to Banna Strand (€50,000), the enhancement of Derrymore Beach Car Park (€49,500), upgrading facilities at Camp Community Playground (€50,000).

Other projects to receive funding include improving access to White Strand Blue Flag Beach (€50,000), the extension of the existing playground in Kenmare (€50,000), improvements to Ballyheigue Community Centre (€22,285), construction of an accessible picnic area in Barraduff (€11,250), the creation of a community garden at Tarbert Community Centre (€22,725), renovation works at Kielduff Community Centre (€48,258) and improving energy efficiency at the CYMS Killorglin (€21,348).
The news was welcomed by Minister Norma Foley and Deputy Brendan Griffin.
