THE Tralee Live Register figure for May was down nearly 500 on the same month last year, according to data from the Central Statistics Office (CSO).
There were 3,227 signing on in Tralee last month compared to 3,726 in May 2018, a drop of 499, or 13%. It’s now the lowest figure for May in Tralee since before the recession when, in May 2007, there were 3,181 signing on.
Countywide, 6,505 people signed on at the seven offices in Kerry last month which is drop of 15% on May 2018.
