Met Eireann.

Met Eireann.

WE’RE not getting carried away.

This is Ireland after all, but early forecasts are predicting temperatures in the low 20s could reach our shores by Sunday.

Met Éireann is telling us that temperatures this week will gradually become “mild if not warm with continental air feeding in over Ireland.

But localised heavy showers will break out with us down here in the west and southwest most at risk. Of course.

Even with the chance of showers, “Sunday will still be a milder day across all areas, possibly even warm, with highest temperatures of 15 to 20 or 21 degrees Celsius”.

Ok, maybe we’re not guaranteed summer vibes, but when has that stopped us before maximizing even the slightest upturn in the weather?
